How to collect all the stamps in Roost

By @eli_c · Added 23 Oct 2026 · 3 min read

The basics

  • Your own bird, landing there. A message carried by one of your own birds has to land in a country to earn its stamp. The stamp is yours the moment the bird lands.
  • The first message counts. It is the first message to land there that earns the stamp, not the acceptance message that starts a pen pal.
  • Visitor birds don't count. Send a visitor's bird abroad and the stamp goes to the visitor's collection, not yours.

Track what's left

  • Hide what you have. On the Stamps list, switch the filter to Hide collected, and set the From pill to your home country to sort the rest by distance, nearest first.
  • See the gaps. Open the Map and filter it to Still missing: every country you still need stands out, and On the way shows where your birds are heading.
  • Let landings collect themselves. Log every bird you send on Flights with its landing time. With automatic stamp collection on, RoostWiki marks the stamp collected once the bird has landed, even if you were away.

Find pen pals in the right places

  • Search by country. Roost supporters can look for pen pals by country, the quickest way to fill specific gaps.
  • See who lives there. Signed in to RoostWiki, open any stamp to see how many collectors call that country home and how many already hold its stamp, then open either count to find them. Find collectors on the Friends tab searches by country too.
  • Compare with friends. Add the collectors you know as Friends and open a profile: it lists the stamps you could help them get, and the ones they could help you get.

Places nobody lives

Some stamps have nobody living there, so there is no pen pal to write to:

  • Use nests instead. A nest is a group chat Roost sets at a place, and a bird sent to it lands where the nest is, which earns that place's stamp.
  • Find the right nest. On the Nests list, filter to Stamp missing to see the nests set where you still need the stamp, how many of their 20 places are left, and whose friend to become to be let in. Every stamp's card on RoostWiki also opens straight onto the nests set in its country.
  • Run one yourself. List your nest on Nests so other collectors can find it, and keep its member count up to date.

Events

Some remote places only open up during events:

Events shows the event on now, how long it has left, and every past event with where it was set and what it gave.

Nearly there

  • A stamp didn't appear? Players have reported it for a few countries. Mark it collected on RoostWiki by hand so your list stays right.
  • Ask for help. Use Share with friends at the bottom of the Stamps list to post a picture of everything you have and everything on its way.

Worked for you? A like tells the next collector it does.
