How to unsend a letter in Roost

Unsend a letter

1. Open your Rookery in the Roost app.
2. Tap the bird that is carrying the letter.
3. Scroll to the bottom of its page and tap Unsend.

Unsending a letter can cost you an egg, so check which bird is going before you press send.

Quicker when several birds are out

In the Rookery, switch to the large card view (the four-square button under the search bar) and pick the Flight filter. Every bird in the air shows an Unsend button under its card.

Why a letter leaves with your slowest bird

Roost has a setting that lets the game pick the bird for you, and it can pick a slow one. A letter from Germany to Oregon, in the United States, can take a year to arrive on a slow bird.

Stop it happening again

• Turn off the toggle that lets the game pick the bird, so you choose the bird yourself every time you send a letter.
• Check it again after every app update: players have seen it switch back on by itself.
